Depicting a goldfinch with honeysuckle, ranunculus and peonies, and the cock butcher bird with roses, poppies and lilac, each in a gilt gesso frame, the latter signed 'GH' for Gustavus Hamilton, the former labelled 'DERMOTT, CARVER, GILDER, GLASS & PICTURE FRAME MAKER, .... SOUTHAMPTON', each inscribed in pencil 'Mrs Vincent - Regilt'
