CIRCA 1728, ENAMELLED BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S 73.
Painted on each side with a shipping scene with figures in discussion on a wooded shoreline before galleons within shaped oval cartouches with Böttger-lustre panels edged with scrolls, flanked by sprays of indianische Blumen, the interior with a ship in full sail approaching a quay within a similar cartouche below a Laub-und-Bandelwerk border (minute glaze chip at edge of painted scene, minor wear to gilt rim)
