The same castle appears from different perspectives on both the top and the underside of the cover of this snuff-box and can also be seen on a rectangular Meissen box which is illustrated by Barbara Beaucamp-Markowsy, Boîtes en Porcelaines, des manufactures européenes au 18e siècle, Fribourg, 1985, p. 122, no. 91.
