oval box, the cover, sides and base set with panels of translucent purple enamel over an engine-turned ground within red and green enamel berried foliage interlaced with white enamel beading on a sablé ground, the cover centred with an oval enamel plaque depicting a classical scene, the side pilasters with chased taille d'épargne classical vases
