A young lady, in white dress with mauve sash, a spray of lilac at corsage, powdered hair, After Louis-Marie Sicardi (French, 1743-1825); together with A young gentleman, in open-neck white shirt, turquoise waistcoat, powdered wig en queue, by Antoine Vestier (French, 1740-1824)
The latter signed and dated ‘vestier 1791’ (mid-right)
Both on ivory
Ovals, 64 mm. high, gold frame with split-pearl border, and 43 mm. high, gilt-metal mount, respectively

The former, with Sotirio Bulgari, Rome.
