Each shaped circular with shell and foliage heightened gadrooned border, the domed cover with detachable fluted finial with branch handle above openwork acorn and oak leaf calyx, the covers engraved with a coat-of-arms the bases with a crest, with Old Sheffield plate warming base on four paw feet, each marked underneath, inside cover and finial and on and handle

The arms are those of Farrer of Ingleborough Co., York, impaling Willis of Halsmead, Lancaster, for Thomas Farrer (1787-1833).
