Octofoil and on four plain bracket feet, engraved with a lozenge-of-arms, marked underneath, further engraved with scratchweight '48=16'

The arms are those of Welby with Towers in pretence for Mary Welby (1685-1759), daughter and heiress of John Towers, widow of Richard Welby (1658-1713).
