CIRCA 1590, MAKER'S MARK A HOUSEMARK, POSSIBLY LIEBENSTEIN
Tapering cylindrical with flared rim, the stepped domed foot below a knopped stem chased with masks and scrolls, the sides engraved with birds amidst foliage within strapwork below an inscription, the cover with spool-shaped knop and Roman warrior finial, marked twice below rim, on cover and on foot rim
21 in. (53.3 cm.) high
30 oz. 18 dwt. (962 gr.)
The inscription reads 'ALBERT UND CONRAD VON UND Z LIEBENSTAIN G EVETERN'
