A LARGE 'WATERFOWLS' DUAN INKSTONE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
Of irregular, somewhat rounded rectangular shape, the inkstone is carved with a broad grinding surface recessing to a deeper inkwell incised with two waterfowls swimming in a stylised wave ground. The sunken base is plain.
