KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The finely potted bowl is decorated with a pair of sinuous dragons in mutual persuit of 'flaming pearls' amidst clouds and flames, all reserved against an inky-blue ground. The interior is further decorated with a central medallion enclosing a single leaping dragon.
