The sturdily potted moonflask with moulded lobed sides is flanked on either side of the shoulder with a pair of stylised scroll-handles joined to the tall quatrefoil neck and raised on a conforming short quatrefoil splayed foot. It is covered overall with a pale grey glaze suffused with a fine network of black and golden crackle falling to the edge of the foot to expose the pale grey ware bearing traces of a black dressing.
