TWO YIXING TEAPOTS
DAOGUANG PERIOD (1821-1850)
The first is well potted with an ovoid body with a c-shaped handle and gently curved spout, resting on a recessed base incised with a two-line inscription, signed Mengchen; the second has a squat body above the countersunk base inscribed with a poetic inscription, with the mouth rim of the teapot, the domed cover and the finial mounted with gilt-metal.
