EARLY 16TH CENTURY
With a domed top and studded riveted carcase, the end panels with decorative applied Gothic arches and side handles, the front with six hinged hasps, two with keyholes being revealed by moving rivets to be able to unlock the other hasps, the lock in the front of the chest is hidden by a plain steel liner
