Of tall cylindrical form, the snakeskin surfaces chased with elaborate scrollwork centred by male and female figures, on circular spreading foot with band of ovolos, the scroll handle incorporating a mythical beast and terminating in a dolphin's head, the cover engraved with scrollwork around a raised centre with armoured helm finial and male figural thumbpiece
