MARK OF JOSEPH CRADDOCK, LONDON, 1830
Shaped circular, the border cast and pierced with 'C'-scrolls, masks, animals, chinoiserie, vine leaves, shells and scrolling foliage, the centre engraved with roses, shamrocks and thistles emblematic of Britain, and centred by later engraved initials 'MUdeB', crest and motto scroll, marked underneath
24 5/8 in. (62 cm.) diam.
192 oz. 14 dwt. (5,995 gr.)
The crest and motto are those of Montefiore.
