1027-1029 PROPERTY OF AN ASIAN PRIVATE COLLECTOR The current owner of this collection is an experienced photographer who started to collect Chinese paintings and calligraphy during the 1980s. Many works in the collection were acquired from his close friend, the owner of the renowned Chai Sian Kwan; others were bought at important auctions. In addition to three classical works, paintings by Zhang Daqian, Zhang Shanzi, Qi Baishi and Huang Yongyu will also be offered in our Fine Chinese Modern Paintings sale on 25 November 2014, Lots 1704 - 1710.
