black and white chalk on blue paper, fragmentary trimmed black ink framing lines along the lower edge
6 7/8 x 10 5/8 in. (17.4 x 26.9 cm.); with four further drawings:
a. After Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem, A shepherd and shepherdess with their flock (pl. 11)
b. Attributed to Dirck Dalens the Younger (1657-1687), A landscape with figures metamorphosing into trees, perhaps the sisters of Phaeton (pl. 11)
c. Aernout ter Himpel (circa 1634-1686), Two figures and a dog on a country lane (pl. 12), and
d. Jan Claesz. Rietschoof (1652-1719), Two barges anchored on the Rhine at Rhenen (pl. 10) (5)
