The case with chequered stringing to the trunk and plinth, the brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, strike/silent to XII, signed Will.m Allam/London, the twin train movement with recoil anchor escapement, rack striking on a bell; with pendulum and two brass-cased weights, case key and winding key
