A BRITISH .75 INDIA PATTERN FLINTLOCK SERVICE MUSKET
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
With 39 ½ in. (100.4 cm.) barrel struck with large King's proof marks, rounded lock incised with double border lines and marked 'TOWER' on the tail and with 'GR' cypher beneath the pan, walnut three-quarter stock with stamps including a shield-shaped crowned mark above the number '150' on the right side of the butt, brass mounts, iron sling mounts, and iron ramrod; together with a socket bayonet marked 'HADLEY' and 'I. SALTER' on the blade and '3 REGIG 39' on the socket
