(79 cm.) barrel, tip-up breech-block signed 'BRAENDLIN'S PATENT', signed lock, brass mounts, Birmingham proof marks; together with A BRITISH .451 BREECH-LOADING PERCUSSION RIFLE OF SERVICE TYPE, CIRCA 1860, with 33 ¼ in. (84.5 cm.) barrel with Whitworth type rifling, falling breech-block opened by turning the trigger-guard, walnut three-quarter stock; and A BRITISH .577 PERCUSSION VOLUNTEER RIFLE, DATED '1859', with 39 in. (99cm.) barrel, the lock struck with a crown and marked 'TOWER'
