A PAIR OF GREEK GOLD GOAT HEAD EARRINGS
HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 4TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
Each with a tapering hoop of spiraling plain wire that hooks through a loop on the underside of the goat head terminal, with a collar of filigree tongues joined to the neck, the beaded-wire horns curving over elongated sheet ears, with two perforations for the eyes
