CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG (1736-1795)
The plaque is of flattened beribboned double-gourd form. One side is decorated with the characters zhai jie, and the reverse is inscribed in Manchu. Both inscriptions are surrounded by inlaid flowers, and are all reserved on a gold-filigree ground inlaid with turquoise and pearls ; some tiny losses to the extremities.
