The rounded sides are finely moulded as chrysanthemum petals rising to a scalloped rim, supported on a similarly shaped short foot. The dish is overall covered in a pink glaze ; small retouches.
6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diam.

Chrysanthemum-shaped dishes appear in a complete series of twelve colours during the Yongzheng reign as illustrated in Kangxi Yongzheng Qianlong, Hong Kong, 1989, p. 316, no. 145.
A group of variously coloured chrysanthemum dishes from the Yongzheng to Qianlong periods are illustrated by John Ayers, The Baur Collection, Geneva, 1972, vol.3, nos.A496-A500. A lavender-purple example was sold in our Hong Kong Rooms, 3 November 1998, lot 926.
