GRANDE COUPE LIBATOIRE EN JADE BLANC SCULPTE
CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, XVIIIEME SIECLE
The vessel is carved with a ruyi-form rim and is surrounded by winding lingzhi branches growing from the base. The exterior is carved in high relief with five bats, two of which are holding chrysanthemum sprays in their mouths. The stone is of a very pale tone with some minor milky inclusions ; chip to one chrysanthemum stem.
