The figure is modelled seated in dhyanasana with his right hand in varadamudra, his left hand in dhyanamudra. He is dressed in loose flowing robes with incised floral hems which are open at the chest displaying a wan emblem and falling in deep folds onto the flat base. The rounded face has downcast eyes and a serene expression, with tightly curled hair and pendulous earlobes ; traces of gilding.
