Buddha Shakyamuni is modelled seated in vajrasana on a throne. The front is carved with a central bodhisattva figure flanked by kneeling and standing acolytes. Both hands are placed in dharmacakramudra. His robes fall in symmetrical folds over his body and legs. His face displays a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, urna at his forehead, and smiling lips, with his hair styled in waves over the ushnisha. A large halo is placed behind his head.
