A Rock-Ola jukebox, featured in the 1975 Twentieth Century Fox film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, seen during the performance of The Time Warp when Little Nell Campbell's character Columbia sings her solo verse atop the jukebox before launching from her perch into a solo tap dance; model 1452, serial number 162570, customised blue painted panel sides with mirrored stars, the internal speaker cover board also painted blue with mirrored stars as seen in the film, fifty selection record changer, two push button tune selector panels with track labels, internal lights; the jukebox has undergone full restoration to exterior and mechanics; accompanied by a document concerning the provenance, a folder with images detailing all restoration and a key to open the jukebox

Lot Essay

The vendor was given the jukebox by Brian Thomson, who was the original designer of The Rocky Horror Show musical stage production and the production designer of the The Rocky Horror Picture Show and its sequel, Shock Treatment.
