A Regency goblet
on a reeded and foliate-engraved rising circular foot, the part-fluted waisted gilt-lined bowl with a rim finely-engraved with various musical instruments and sheet music, the upper part of the body engraved: "Presented to Sir Geoe. T. Smart by the Members of the New Musical Fund, as a Mark of their Esteem for the able manner in which he has conducted their Concerts. Apl. 19th. 1812", probably Peter & William Bateman, London 1811 - 7½in. (19cm.); and a trophy cup on a beaded rising circular foot and with a knopped stem, the bowl with presentation inscription and armorial, London 1913 - 11¼in. (28.50cm.), 25oz. (2)
