A George III swing-handled bon-bon dish
of shaped oval form, on applied C-scroll legs and chased and embossed with rococo flowers and foliage, the fluted body pierced with alternating foliate and geometric panels, the pierced handle also enhanced with flowers and foliage, the underside engraved with a monogram, apparently with no maker's mark, London 1768 - 6¾in. (7cm.), 5.25oz.
