in the Regency taste, comprising: a teapot, pedestal hot water jug, sugar basin and milk jug, each on bun feet and with an applied gadroon, shell and foliate shaped everted rim, the teapot and hot water jug with ebonised wood bracket handles and domed hinged covers with rounded oblong wood finials, the milk jug and sugar basin with foliate-decorated bracket handles, maker's initials W.S. and C.S., Sheffield 1926, 1927 and 1928, each also with a patent number, and a matching shaped oblong two-handled plated tea tray, each piece engraved with an initial - height of hot water jug 8in. (20.25cm.), length of plated tray 27in. (68.50cm.) overall, weight of silver pieces 70.25oz. gross.
