Decorated overall with garlands of flowers and ivy leaves, and strung with boxwood and ebony, the top with a later pierced entrelac gallery above a single frieze drawer, the central cupboard door decorated with a classical scene, enclosing three mahogany-fronted and cedar-lined drawers, on later square tapering spade legs with gilt brass ball feet, the backboards with an early 20th century label "Earl of Carnarvon", the painted decoration renewed, the brass mounts later
