Cross- and feather-banded overall, the dentil and cushion moulded cornice above doors with gilt gesso cartouche mouldings and later clear glass enclosing an adjustable shelf, above a pair of candle-slides, the bureau section with polished writing surface beneath pigeon holes, various small drawers and a central cupboard flanked by fluted pilaster secret drawers, the long drawers below with oak linings, the feet replaced
