MARK OF THOMAS DANIELL OVERSTRIKING THAT OF ROBERT HENNELL, LONDON, 1780
The sides pierced with slats between two bands of vetruvian scrolls and incorporating oval medallions centred by neo-classical urns, engraved with a crest of a dolphin below a motto scroll inscribed OPMH, and raised on ball and claw feet; together with a similar pair by Robert Hennell, London, 1790; also a pierced oval mustard pot by Robert Hennell, London, 1786, with shell thumbpiece and navette-shaped foliate medallions; and a vase-shaped mustard-pot by Robert Hennell, London, 1781, pierced with bands of vetruvian scrolls and neo-classical medallions above engraved laurel swags
