Lot Essay

This is a rare example of a signed winter landscape by Fidanza. Marietta Vinci Corsini has confirmed the attribution, and intends to publish the painting in a forthcoming article, discussing the unique relationship of Francesco Foschi's and Fidanza´s winter landscapes.
