The automaton eyes and tongue/jaw moving on the hour, the silvered dial showing 24 hours with steel hand; the movement with brass plates joined by steel pillars, chain fusee time and plain fixed barrel for strike, balance wheel to top plate, countwheel to bottom plate, strike to bell on underside
