The plinth with frieze drawer, the figure holding rotating sphere with hours, her head and arm moving when striking; the rectangular plates joined by plain ringed pillars, with engraved fixed barrel for time and plain fixed barrel for the strike, the bottom plate with inset calibrated steel countwheel and later spring balance, floral engraving and signed 'Paullus Schiller'
