The case with dials to the top with time indicated by an angel and a pilgrim revolving to show the hours and minutes respectively, the revolving center with dog and figure of St. Christopher to show the seconds, glazed sides and signed above the mock pendulum aperture 'Paul Marx' and flanked by automaton angels striking the hours and quarters, with strike/silent lever 'N/R' and push repeat button to side, the movement with three plain fixed barrels and striking on two bells
