The architectural case with break-arch scroll cresting, outset columns and raised on bun feet, the painted copper dial depicting Father Time and Death, arched aperture to show the revolving hours with pierced quarter indications above; the inverted single fusee timepiece movement with circular plates joined by baluster pillars, verge escapement, the backplate signed 'Gio: Carlo Cahn Genova'
