A FRENCH SILVERED BRONZE STRIKING MANTEL CLOCK
DENIERE, PARIS, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The arched case cast with cornucopia and foliage, herm figural supports flanking the cast silvered dial, with roman numerals and pierced hands, the twin barrel movement with Brocot escapement and rack striking to bell, back plate stamped DENIERE A PARIS and numbered 3811, also stamped CAILLEAUX and with a trade mark; key and pendulum lacking
