Of bombé form, the top and sides decorated with floral bouquets, birds and landscapes, the slant-front opening to a removable fitted interior with five drawers and a central pigeon hole with further sliding panel and gilt-tooled leather writing surface, above a central frieze drawer, on cabriole legs with foliate chutes and pierced sabots
