Wood-engraved frontispiece, folding engraved map, 14 full-page wood-engraved illustrations and 5 engraved plates of advertisements. Original printed wrappers (spine torn at head and foot). Mackay's guide books, 'now quite rare, were often called strangers' or travellers' guides' (DCB). Beaulieu & Morley p. 191.
