Green morocco by Riviere, triple gilt fillets on sides, smooth spine with longitudinal lettering, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges (spine faded, upper joints rubbed and splitting). Provenance: Robert Armour (signature on title; occasional corrections in [?]his hand). Dionne 137.

[ROUX, J.H.A.]. Suite du me´moire sur la proprie´te´ des biens du Se´minaire de Montre´al. [Montreal: 1820?]. 8º (193 x 120mm). Green morocco uniform with the previous title (spine faded to brown and rubbed along joints). Provenance: occasional corrections in a contemporary hand. A continuation of Me´moire pour le Se´minaire de Montre´al. Roux defended 'the delicate, and indeed precarious situation of the Séminaire de Montréal in the matter of recognition of its rights' (DCB). Dionne 140.
