THE CREAM JUG MARK OF THOMAS WHIPHAM AND WILLIAM WILLIAMS, LONDON, 1741; THE SUGAR BOWL MARK OF JOHN SWIFT, LONDON, 1748
The cream jug of baluster form, with scroll handle, marked under base; the sugar bowl of pear-form, the cover with gadrooned ring finial, engraved with a lozenge-of-arms, marked under base and cover, also with scratch weight 10·4; together with a Dutch silver tea caddy, mark of Alle de Haas, circa 1900, also bearing pseudo-hallmarks, vase-form, embossed with tassels and flutes, marked under base and on neck
The cream jug 4 in. (10 cm.) high; the sugar bowl 4 ½ in. (11.3 cm.) diameter; the tea caddy 6 in. (15 cm.) high; 18 oz. 10 dwt.
