Yao Hua (1876-1930),whose style name was Yi’e and pseudonym was Chongguang, was a famous seal-carver and book collector from Guizhou in the Republic period. He graduated from the Japanese University of Politics and Law and then became the president of Beijing Woman's Normal University. He collected many stones, paintings, and ancient books when he lived in Beijing.
