Lot Essay

Zhang Zheng of Changde, Hunan was the Commissioner of Security for the National Constitutional Assembly in 1946. By 1948 he was promoted to lieutenant general and served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Capital Garrison Division. Three years after his death, he was given the posthumous rank of second-level general.
