A Royal Worcester vase, liner and cover painted by Harry Davis
oviform, painted with two sheep, one standing, the other recumbent by two lambs, among boulders and grasses in a valley, the reverse with a landscape vignette, between leaf-moulded and gilt bands, the shoulder moulded with tied bands, with a slightly domed liner and pierced cover with flower finial, moulded with pendant flowerheads above a band of beads and panels of flowers and foliage, signed, shape no. 2048, printed puce mark, mark for Frains Ltd. of Dundee -- 13½in. (34.3cm.) high, date code for 1919 (some minor firing faults and slight wear)
