A HONGMU RECESSED TRESTLE-LEG SIDE TABLE, QIAOTOU’AN
CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The top comprised of two separate planks set on top of each other and fitted with everted ends above plain beaded aprons and spandrels, the legs of convex rectangular section framing plain beaded aprons beneath pairs of stretchers and set into shoe feet
32 in. (81.3 cm.) high, 57 ¼ in. (145.4 cm.) wide, 13 ½ in. (34.3 cm.) deep
