CHINA, SONG-YUAN DYNASTY (AD 960-1368)
The figure shown seated in rajalilasana on a rocky outcrop, and dressed in heavy robes with voluminous folds, the face with heavy-lidded eyes, and the hair pulled into a topknot and secured with a tall crown centered by a diminutive image of Amitabha, all raised on an associated waisted square plinth with scrolled feet
