See the perforated vessel of similar form, but raised on a spreading foot, and with arched handles, which is in the Ma'anshan Office for Management of Cultural Relics, and illustrated by Zhang Bai in Complete Collection of Ceramic Art Unearthed in China, vol. 8, Beijing, 2008, no. 12, where it is described as a censer, and dated to Three Kingdoms, Wu Kingdom (AD 220-280).

Oxford thermoluminescence test no. P114n75 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
