A LARGE CIZHOU-TYPE RUSSET 'OIL-SPOT' BOWL
CHINA, JIN DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
The rounded sides covered inside and out with a lustrous blackish-brown glaze liberally splashed on the interior with russet 'oil spots' that continue on the exterior where the glaze falls in an irregular line atop a thin brown glaze
